Lazy Days: Islington Showroom Launch Party
Guests enjoyed an evening of greenspiration at the launch of our Islington Showroom
Plants and Prosecco may seem like an unlikely mix but at the launch of our new Islington showroom they proved an irresistible combination. For one special evening guests enjoyed our botanical themed party. Plant lovers gathered in force for our tropical themed terrarium workshop that was followed by botanical drinks.
Further, guests relished in the experience of creating their own urban jungle under glass. Co-hosted with Pointless Plants, the showroom was transformed into a chic green sanctuary where interior lovers and plant enthusiasts rubbed shoulders.
Once the green mood was set then botanical drinks flowed and guests explored our range of sumptuous sofas surrounded by inspiring foliage and a stunning cornucopia buffet.
Nature-inspired workshop
Guests enjoyed an evening of greenspiration and botanical drinks exclusively set up in the new Islington showroom. Pointless Plants shared their knowledge on how to create a tropical terrarium from scratch. Surrounded by dozens of mini plants they created their own urban jungle whilst sipping botanical cocktails.
Family, friends and fido gathered to celebrate an evening surrounded by beautiful interiors, food and nature.
Pointless Plants took guests through each stage of creating their own mini urban jungle under glass. The endless selection of plants produced unique results for each terrarium.
Tropical indoor plants are proving a strong trend as a means of bringing more green into our home. The rise in interest of rare plants also shows the desire to make a statement with what we display at home.
An irresistible goody-bag
No event would be complete without a gorgeous goody bag to take home. For the launch of our Islington Showroom we reached out to some of our favourite brands who reflected the spirit of a botanical feast. Guests took home a goody bag filled with a lush Gin Fusion bespoke botanical blend drink. In addition, this was complimented by a Popaball drinks bubble, these fun fizzes make a perfect addition to any cocktail and Prosecco. Also tucked inside was the smooth Mirabeau pale pink wine inspired by the botanicals growing wild on their wine estate near Saint Tropez. For some extra creative pop the goody bag also included a funky Eleanor Bowmer greeting card and a delightful Pointless Plants succulent. Finally, there was a sample from the delicious Harry's Emporium. All in all, we couldn't imagine a better way to end an evening. Guests shared how they looked forward to getting cosy on a bespoke sofa and exploring their goody bag filled with inspiring treats.
We loved the contrast between our house fabrics and the incredible food served up on the night. It was designer-meets-delicious and felt at times like a movie set. Islington Square proved the perfect location to attract guests ready to be inspired and visually engaged.
