So happy with our new sofa

So happy with our new sofa. From ordering in the shop - staff so friendly and helpful giving really useful tips & advice from Rachel, right through to home delivery from Cain & Nev who were so polite and tidy. The whole experience was a pleasure & our new sofa beautiful!!

Outstanding customer service and product knowledge

My husband and I are thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and exceptional assistance provided by the Guildford team. They dedicated considerable time to guiding us, both in-person and over the phone, to choose the perfect design and color for our sofa and armchair in our new home.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Adam, Chloe and Caroline for their invaluable support. Their commitment to delivering top-tier customer service truly distinguishes them from their competitors.

In addition to their exemplary customer service, Arlo & Jacob's sofa designs are incredibly stylish and comfortable, with a wide range of high-quality materials available for selection.

This morning, the delivery team (Nav and Keith) arrived promptly and efficiently delivered the sofa and armchair. They demonstrated professionalism and expertise, unwrapping the items with precision. Notably, they took special care to keep our carpet clean and ensured throughout the process that neither the walls nor the carpet were dirtied.

We wholeheartedly recommend Arlo & Jacob, particularly the Guildford team, to anyone in need of purchasing new furniture. Their dedication to excellence in both service and product is truly commendable.

5 month delay, can't have the sofa I chose

Ordered my sofa at the beginning of October, with the assurance that it would be with me before Christmas. Fast forward 5 months and the sofa still isn't here, and I have no idea when it will be.

Not only that, but I've not been told that I can't have the fabric I chose and have to choose something else. Been trying to communicate with them to get a refund and not getting anywhere. Wouldn't order from here again.

Incredibly sorry for what appears to be a combination of human error, on our part - combined with communication which was over-promised, to put it mildly. We are trying to get in touch as we speak to confirm your fabric selection, once we have this, we will be able to give a firm date for completion and prioritise delivery for you. We are near the end and cannot apologise enough for the delay.

A&J Harrogate - fantastic showroom and great delivery service

We had a fantastic experience with Arlo and Jacob - sofas are quite a big purchase in my book and we received great help and advice in the Harrogate showroom from Alisha. Delivery by Liam and JR was also great - they were very nice to deal with, took great care in our home and ensured the sofas were looking perfect before leaving. Huge thanks guys!

Harrogate A&J

We opted for Arlo & Jacob as we prefer to support UK manufacturing.
Service was good and staff went out of their way to provide additional samples to us by post. Lots of choice on fabrics and colours. Delivery was efficient and within the agreed timeframe.
Only disappointment was that many of the sofas were deeper than we were wanting, which limited our choice of design

Minor hitch overcome efficiently on delivery, helpful staff

Helpful staff in the Islington branch who assisted with sizing and fabrics. Sofa was delivered when I wanted it, after Xmas, after a bit of calling/emailing. On arrival, the team were very efficient in putting the thing together although there was a hitch with one of the feet which would not screw in properly. Happily, with the assistance of an online WhatsApp call to the factory, this was resolved. Whatever did we do before mobile phones!
Now enjoying comfort with the new sofa which also came with 2 scatter cushions that I was not anticipating so a nice bonus.

LOVE

LOVE. THIS. SOFA.

Team in Ely made buying our new sofa such a smooth experience. We were so excited about it that we actually went in several times to view it and chat to them about it the process as we’d had really bad experiences in the past.


Amy and another lady were fantastic. They dealt with all our many questions and measurement requests as we had a tight space to fit in for access.

Delivery was seamless too - the guys who came were helpful clean and tidy.

Staff were very polite & thorough while…

Staff were very polite & thorough while in store & over the phone.
Our only criticism was we had to chase a couple of times to ask for a potential delivery date as we needed the furniture for Christmas.
Thankfully it arrived in time.

Excellent customer service & beautiful sofas

Excellent and knowledgeable customer service in store, left to make decisions and ‘try’ the range, but there to advise and help with every question. Delivered on time with good communication. Super comfortable, look great and fab quality, so happy with our ‘Noah’ sofas.

Great service in showroom

Great service in showroom. Chose two settees which I am delighted with. The delivery timing was very accurate and although having to plump up the cushions it gave exceptional comfort. Love these sofas so much. Extremely satisfied all round.

First class service

Excellent service from everyone at A&J. From providing knowledgeable advice in the showroom, to first class delivery and setup, the whole process went very smoothly. Delivery a couple of weeks in advance of the initial estimated date was a bonus. Sofas also very stylish and comfortable! Highly recommended.

Delighted with our Hector sofa

Just had our Hector sofa delivered. Great service throughout from the professional, friendly and very helpful staff in the Wilmslow office to the excellent delivery team of Rees and JR.

Really helpful staff in the showroom. Communication could have been better regarding delivery. When we had a date the delivery people were very competent.

The showrooms are fantastic

The showrooms are fantastic, the customer service is great from the sales people to the delivery drivers. And the sofas are the comfiest ever. So glad we happened to pop past the Marlow branch!

Helpful friendly and efficient service

Staff at the Ely Ben’s Yard branch were very helpful without being at all pushy and the store itself allows you to get a good idea of shapes sizes and colours.

We ordered in stores though the website is pretty user friendly and the sofas came when they said they would, via two very friendly and efficient chaps who made sure we were happy before they left. We are delighted with our news sofas.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff in Islington showroom. Sofa ready a month ahead of expected date. Very well organised and efficient delivery. And sofa and footstool are excellent quality, look great and are so comfortable!

This was the best shop by far for service and choice when choosing our sofas

our experience in the shop was excellent. We loved that we were able to take away large swatches and as many as we wanted to help us make up our minds. staff were knowledgeable and gave good advice. the offer of drinks and encouragement to sit and enjoy sofas before buying was appreciated. Finally the product is fabulous and we love our sofas.
