Table Top: Lily Pebbles, Blogger

We’re thrilled and very honoured to have London-based blogger Lily Pebbles as our Table Top guest this month. Self-confessed foodie, Lily can usually be found dressed in denim and vlogging. Lily has been undergoing a huge house renovation project over the past few months and has discovered various learnings along the way, which she shares over on her blog: https://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/. Lily has our Hartfield snuggler in Cotton Velvet, Fiord, sitting proudly in her living room, plus a pretty pink Vesper chair in her home office (watch the vlog). Here she takes us through the items on her gorgeous glass coffee table now that her living room is starting to take shape.

Lily Pebbles Table Top

With a distinctly pink vibe, this coffee table set-up is chic, sophisticated and erring on the side of minimal. Lily says “If our West Elm coffee table isn’t covered in a takeaway and remote controls then it’s usually looking something like this."

Describing the table itself, Lily tells us: “A lot of the furniture pieces we have in our home are a mix of glass and metal as we really like the toughness of the metal and the extra feeling of space that glass gives.”

Scents and aromas are particularly important for creating a cosy, warm atmosphere. Lily tells us: “I love the scents from Diptyque so there’s usually a candle or room spray somewhere nearby.”

Beautiful, organic objects often bring a personal touch to a space. The Rose Quartz on display here, Lily actually found in a pet store. “I think it’s meant for aquariums, it’s huge, and both looks nice and brings a good energy to the room”.

Just like us, Lily loves a coffee table book; “we have lots of big colour photo books, but I’m also loving Charly Cox’s ‘She Must Be Mad’ which is a poetry book.”

Sitting proudly is Lily’s book ‘The F Word’ which came out earlier in the year. It’s a book all about female friendship – plus it looks rather beautiful too.

Lily says: “We love greenery in our house, there’s a plant in every corner and this one is particularly easy to keep alive!”; always a bonus for those of us who are a little less green-figured, or just rubbish at remembering to water our plants.

Thanks for sharing Lily. Be sure to follow her Instagram @lilypebbles for more home inspiration and renovation stories.
