Get the Look: Lucy Barlow’s ‘Revolving Room’ at Wicklewood
This November, colourful interiors brand Wicklewood has partnered with three talented interior stylists to design a ‘Revolving Room’ at their Chelsea pop-up shop using pieces from their latest collections. Each designer takes over the room for three days transforming the space using their signature style, with pieces from Arlo & Jacob sitting centre stage. We paid a visit to Lucy Barlow’s pink and green scheme, which features our stunning Louis sofa in sumptuous Cotton Velvet Fir. We love the way Lucy has layered prints and patterns in a complementary palette of colours to create this soft and inviting look.
Lucy Barlow is the founder of Barlow & Barlow – a British interior design studio known for its dual expertise in decoration and lighting. Describing the scheme, Lucy says; “The Revolving Room is every designer's dream. A totally blank canvas and free reign to do what you want. I’m taking my inspiration from English Country House style, European architecture, colour and pattern.”
The stunning coral Willow wallpaper from the Peggy Angus Collection, at Blithfield provides the backdrop to this eclectic design. The walls are adorned with large handmade Peruvian mirrors, which breaks up the pastel shades and introduces some strong shapes to the scheme. Our Louis sofa looks contemporary and smart sat at the forefront of the room, adorned with beautifully patterned cushions from Wicklewood’s collection. The lamps are Lucy’s own, but we’ve found some similar ones from Pooky that will work perfectly.
