Lazy Sunday: Valentines Breakfast


Treat your loved one to breakfast in bed with this scrumptious Berry Cashew Smoothie Bowl from our friends at Meridian. A twist on the classic smoothie, this bowl of goodness is a quick, easy and healthy alternative for breakfast – it’s also dairy free and suitable for vegans too.

We think it’s best served with a delicious cup of freshly ground coffee and even a cheeky glass of champagne on the side!

Berry Cashew Smoothie Bowl

Valentine's Day Smoothie Bowl


For the smoothie:
200g frozen mixed berries
1 banana
2 tbsp Meridian cashew butter
150ml almond or cashew milk

To serve:
Handful of granola
Extra cashew butter


* Put all the smoothie ingredients into a blender, liquidiser or nutribullet and whizz until smooth.

* Tip into a bowl and top with berries and scatter with a handful of granola. Drizzle over a little extra cashew butter and serve.


Cook's Tip

If you prefer your smoothie drinkable rather than spoonable then just add more almond milk.
