Interior Trends: Limited-edition Kitty McCall Chairs & Competition
We’ve collaborated with the very talented graphic print designer Kitty McCall to bring you this limited-edition version of our bestselling Emilia cocktail chair.
Working from her base in Folkestone, Kitty McCall is a renowned graphic print designer with over ten years of experience in the design industry. Her bright, beautiful and bold patterns play with colour and overlaid shapes to create striking and eye-catching designs.
We worked with Kitty to reimagine her bestselling Canary print in our Spring/Summer 2018 colour palette and have used it to create a limited number of our striking Emila cocktail chairs. The large pattern repeat of the Canary fabric means that each Emilia chair is one of a kind: a true original. Exuding both individuality and character, the chair is available in two variations: make a statement with the full pattern version, or opt for the patterned back which is paired with our complementary Firod Cotton Velvet for a subtler injection of print and colour.
Our Product Manager Laura Barnard said of the collaboration, ‘We are always keen on celebrating regional talents and working with Kitty McCall was a natural fit for us. Combining our iconic, 1960s inspired Emilia Chair with the striking Kitty McCall Canary print, meant we have been able to design a bold piece synonymous with the Kitty McCall design ethos, with all the comfort and style associated with Arlo & Jacob.”
Catherine Nice, founder of Kitty McCall, said “After meeting Arlo & Jacob, I knew I
wanted to work with them, not simply because their furniture is truly irresistible but because of their commitment to craft. I simply loved that their handcrafted furniture was made in Long Eaton, the UK’s upholstery heartland”.
With a very limited number of pieces, you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on one of these limited-edition chairs.
