Interior Trends: Fabric Edit Autumn/Winter 2018
It’s now officially autumn and we can certainly feel a brisk chill in the air. Mornings are cooler and nights are getting a little darker, so it’s time to start thinking about the colder months and the changing seasons. This autumn/winter, we’re introducing a new fabric edit that consists of eight beautifully textured fabrics, including a striking digitally printed floral print velvet.

Curated by our product team, the various fabrics in the edit explore different textures, along with semi-plain fabrics, all of which complement the dramatic Winter Garden floral print velvet. The collection was built around the Winter Garden Floral Velvet. It’s a gorgeous Italian, digitally printed velvet with a moody, pared-back wintery colour palette. The remaining seven fabrics were handpicked to complement the floral velvet’s colour palette while introducing various textures. What’s more, the textured fabrics are designed to work cohesively with one another in pairs, or more, with or without the floral velvet.
The idea behind the collection was to help you create a sophisticated, elegant autumnal interior. Textured fabrics are ideal for the colder months since they bring a cosy element to your living room. The fabrics are all designed to work with one another, so that you can choose any combination from the eight, helping you to build a complex sophisticated interior, without being too ‘matchy-matchy’. They are meant to be layered, whether you opt for a complete sofa upholstery, scatter cushions, or individual, standalone chairs – the furniture will work together with the fabrics in the Autumn/Winter 2018 Fabric Edit to create a cosy wintery feel. All these fabrics are sourced from premium European mills.
