Summer Styling Pops of Colour
Summer has certainly boosted the mood around the Arlo offices! It’s got us dreaming up new ways to reflect a lighter and more playful spirit through design. While a vibrantly patterned armchair or breezy linen sofa is sure to do the trick, there are also smaller ways of bringing some summer spirit into your interior. Our Button stools work wonders in delivering mighty little bursts of fun to the home. They’re highly customisable in a range of colours and styles. So, let’s get into how you can tailor them to suit your style!
Our Button design is a three-legged wooden stool with a whole lot of character. It comes in two sizes, so you can adapt yours to serve different purposes. The large option works well as a more expansive side table, while the small is ideal as a nimble cocktail table or stool. Either are also great in minimalist bedroom schemes, where they can bring a bit of style and functionality to cosy corners or bedsides.
As with all our designs, we produce each Button stool in sustainable FSC timber sourced from European forests. So, you can be sure you’re getting furniture that not only looks great, but treads lightly on the planet, too! They’re crafted just down the road from us by an exceptionally skilled woodworker named Steve. This way, we keep control over not only the ingredients but how they’re handled, leaving them in only the safest of hands.
If you prefer a more natural palette, these wooden stools are the perfect fit. They’re available in oak, chestnut, walnut, or ebony stains. You can also combine the oak and ebony stains to create a bitonal effect that feels contemporary, yet warm and textural. For a bit of added spice, we’d suggest going for a painted colour option! We offer Mayfly, Hazel, Birnam, Rust, and Olive colourways. Each one is designed to intrigue without overwhelming the eye. We’ve chosen a mixture of warmer, toastier tones to take you through autumn and winter, as well as fresher, nature-inspired colours that are perfect for spring and summer, feeling very much of the moment! Each one is designed to work beautifully with the rest of our furniture designs, tying into our house palette of rich, timeless hues.
The final layer of customisation comes in the form of Button’s legs! We offer straight legs with rounded feet for a sleek, yet playful effect. Or if you’re looking for a bit of a craftsman feel, we can create handmade bobbin legs that add an extra dash of personality. We find they really sing in a lighter colour like Mayfly!
