Sustainability is a key concern across all of our designs. We make each and every one to order so we can ensure we’re minimising waste every step of the way. We also make a point of sourcing our wood from sustainable forests in Europe, meaning you can feel good about every order you make with us!

We’re big on sustainability at Arlo & Jacob. We make all of our furniture to order, which allows us to minimise our waste at every step. All our timber is sourced from sustainably managed forests to ensure we’re being conscious of our environment. We work with European providers to cut back on travel emissions and ensure better visibility on their environmental practices. If you’re looking for an environmentally-friendly footstool, look no further! You can combine any of our designs with the sustainable fabric of your choice, creating a bespoke footstool that not only looks and feels great, but is kind to the planet, too! Be sure to check out our Sustainable Stripe and Sustainable Plain fabrics, which have especially glowing environmental creds! They’re made using upcycled materials like fabric offcuts and plastic bottles, turning waste into something wonderful.
