It was a real joy to partner with architecture and interior design studio, DE ROSEE SA on their Seeker Collection, which came to light in April 2024. The project was born out of a desire to create beautiful and highly functional furniture for those awkward, underserved spaces. What resulted is a range of elegantly proportioned, meticulously crafted designs that are made for modern living.
Tailord for Modest Spaces
London-based DE ROSEE SA found there was real demand from their clients for furniture that filled specific roles. Many were keen on seating for the end of a bed, for example. Others were looking for neat ways to combine seating and storage, maximising space and utility. There was also a desire for versatile seating solutions. Some were on the hunt for petite loveseats to liven up bedrooms and kitchens, for example. Then there were others who wanted modular seating which combined comfort, craftsmanship, and customisable style.
Because we make all our furniture ourselves in our own Nottinghamshire workshop, we have the flexibility to get creative and personal! It also allows us to work to an exceptionally high standard, using only top-quality materials like hardwood for the hand-built sofa frames and specially developed, premium fills for the cushions. We found this commitment to quality and craftsmanship to be a real meeting point between our two brands, allowing us to lean into our careful, considered approach to craft.
It was a delight to step outside the norm and handcraft new shapes that shine in DE ROSEE SA’s distinctive, discerning style. The pieces in this range are all very much visually linked, tying together beautifully. However, the variation in shapes, scales, and detailing adds dashes of intrigue throughout. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
